Saving shavimus
Embracing the children and families rescued from Hamas captivity
Every child rescued from captivity is a story of heroism, every family bears an unimaginable pain. Our duty is to hold their hand and provide hope.
The ‘Shavim Lachaim’ (Returning to Life) project was created to write the next chapter in these stories – a chapter of healing and renewal, filled with love and compassion.
What began as a single meeting quickly evolved. From the first moment, these children and families touched our hearts, and we instantly realized that we
cannot leave them to face this alone.
They’ve endured immense suffering and traumatic experiences, carrying deep scars that may not be visible behind their sweet smiles and seemingly healthy bodies, but are ever-present and may never fully heal.
At the ‘Extending a Hand’ organization, we’ve committed ourselves to a special project designed to accompany them on their journey to recovery and equip them with tools to navigate their new, altered lives.
The rehabilitation process is lengthy and demands extensive, ongoing emotional support. We’re here to facilitate this process and provide assistance at every step.
These children are our children; these families are our families.
Your donations enable us to continue our work for them. Together, let’s help restore the childhood these children lost and unite as one large, supportive family.
