Birthday “Adopt a child”

A birthday is an important day in any child’s life, especially for children with cancer, as it symbolizes another milestone in the battle. Another year of having the upper hand over cancer is behind the child, a child who did not give up despite the painful treatments, burning injections, sickness, and anesthesias. And despite all gloomy predictions – he/she is still here for another year!
On this day in particular it is important for us to be there for the child and to celebrate with him/her another year of victory, as a reminder to the child of how much good there is in life and why it is worth fighting for.
