Emily Hand and ChatGPT in an Honest Conversation About the Future
At the Ashmoret Education and Innovation Conference, where we presented the Shavim Lachaim project, Emily Hand, who was released from Hamas captivity in the first hostage exchange, engaged in a conversation with artificial intelligence.
She asked the AI, “What will my future look like?” However, when it attempted to analyze the past in order to predict the future, she responded: “I don’t want to talk about the past.”
The conversation was open and thought-provoking, and it felt as if Emily was speaking on behalf of all the children who returned from captivity.
This moment was both powerful and bittersweet, as it reflected the deep desire of children who have endured severe trauma to look ahead, focus on healing, and rebuild their lives.
