A Farewell Evening for the “Shavim Lachaim” National Service Volunteers
We will never forget the National Service volunteers of the ”Shavim Lachaim” project. Lior Lixenberg, Talia Madmon and Ruti Suliman have entered deeply into all of our hearts, and into the hearts of the children and families they accompanied throughout the past year.
In their honor, we held a special farewell evening at the 2C restaurant in the Azrieli Towers.
It was an especially emotional evening. Families shared moving speeches, describing through tears just how meaningful these young women had been for them during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
It was beautiful to see how ”Shavim Lachaim” has become a warm and united community where everyone feels at home.
We were also very touched that guests who joined us for the first time came to the event as well – Sagui Dekel Chen and Kanira Ariev.
The evening was emotional, the food was wonderful, and there were many tears of joy and gratitude.
Lior, Ruti and Talia, our angels, we wish you great success in whatever path you choose to follow.
